please don’t argue for desalination except in extreme circumstances. it is absolutely rotten for the local ecosystems because they become really freaking salty and significantly warmer and generally way worse at supporting life. it’s not just expensive in terms of money, there are serious environmental costs.

but solar is rad. put solar panels on all the roofs.
